• Charity

Giving back is incredibly important to us. Every year we happily dedicate our time, professional expertise and physical efforts to supporting our communities and designated charities. We also earmark a percentage of our annual profit for charity. Whether by running a marathon or cycling Alpe d'Huez or providing pro bono planning law advice, we support a range of charitable organisations.

Lord Mayor's Appeal Charity

As a Company based in the City, we have enrolled on the City Giving Day to celebrate and showcase our philanthropic and volunteering achievements and encourage others to get involved. We are delighted to be part of the Lord Mayor’s Appeal, bringing together business, employees, neighbouring communities and charities to find solutions to some of London’s most pressing societal issues. We want to help create a difference, and a better city for All.

The Architects' Company

Martha Grekos is a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of the Chartered Architects. Through our involvement, we aim to promote the quality of architecture in the City of London and the architectural profession globally, supporting education through awards and prizes as well as a range of charities related to the City. We work with the Lord Mayor and the City Corporation to champion London as the global hub for architecture.

Temple Bar Trust

Martha Grekos is a Trustee of the Temple Bar Trust. The Temple Bar Trust leases and manages Sir Christopher Wren’s Temple Bar in Paternoster Square (the former ceremonial entrance to the City of London built in 1672) to provide an income to support the charitable aims of the Worshipful Company of Chartered Architects. The Temple Bar Trust seeks to promote architecture in the Square Mile through talks and tours as well as supporting diversity in the architectural profession and promoting architecture to a wider public.

The London Legal

The London Legal Support Trust is an independent charity that raises funds for free legal services in London & the South East. They support the provision of specialist legal advice through law centres, advice agencies and citizens advice services by providing them with grant funding alongside technical and practical support. Each year we raise funds for them by taking part in the London Legal Walk.

Advocate

Martha Grekos is a Panel Member at Advocate. Advocate is the Bar’s national charity that makes it possible for barristers to balance a dedicated practice with making a significant contribution to the community. Advocate match members of the public who need free legal help with barristers who are willing to donate their time and expertise in deserving cases for those who are unable to obtain legal aid and cannot afford to pay. We offer our time, skills and expertise to provide pro bono legal advice, drafting, mediation assistance and representation to those who need it most.

Social Mobility Foundation

Martha Grekos is a mentor at the Social Mobility Foundation. The Social Mobility Foundation is a charity that exists to support high-achieving young people from low income backgrounds into top universities and professions. SMF students are very bright, but there is rarely anyone in their family (or even amongst friends of their family) who has been to university, or who has entered a profession – let alone a person who has followed the career path that they would one day like to pursue. It is wonderful to be able to inspire and transform the lives of the young people we support.

Barts NHS Health Trust

Martha Grekos is a volunteer at Barts Health NHS Trust, part of their army of Covid-19 vaccination programme volunteers to help in the effort to get the country back on its feet. Barts Health NHS Trust is an NHS trust based in London, England. Established in 2012, it runs five hospitals throughout the City of London and East London (St Bartholomew’s Hospital, The Royal Hospital, Mile End Hospital, Whipps Cross Hospital, Newham Hospital), and is one of the largest NHS trusts in England.

UK Real Estate Industry COVID19 Outreach for Support

Martha Grekos Legal Consultancy Limited has signed up to the Real Estate Industry initiative “Do Some Good” to help disadvantaged groups in our community during the Covid-19 pandemic. We are a united industry, and this is an opportunity to come together as a community with the right resources to truly make a difference. Martha Grekos is also a British Red Cross Community Reserve Volunteer and a St John Ambulance Vaccinator Volunteer, helping our communities get back on track.

Diversity and Gender Balance in the Real Estate industry

We are members of various organisations who promote diversity and gender balance within our industry. These include: Women in Planning, Women in Property, Chicks With Bricks, RE: Women, Real Estate Balance, and the Equilibrium Network. It is a time to challenge stereotypes, fight bias, broaden perceptions and celebrate women’s achievements.
